Pray, wish, hope and dream of snow. We want it, we need it.

I stopped by the Ski and Snowboard Show in Portland with rider Adrian Blair to check out Timberline’s setup. They used a bunch of my photos from last year to promote Timberline and the Mount Hood Fusion Pass. They had over-sized banners printed and they looked great. I’m stoked.
The Timberline Marketing crew is killing it. yea fellers!

Snow is falling in the higher elevations! Mt. Hood with a fresh coat.

Timberline used a shot of Jonny Sischo, head snowboard coach for Windells Academy, to promote season pass sales on their website…now I really want it to start snowing!

I’m getting caught up on some of my personal work, scanning some film I developed months ago. Hasselblad 500cm, 150mm, Kodak Tmax 100.

Northwest based clothing company Auviq used my shot of Jonny Sischo on the backyard gap to wall ride feature in Government Camp outside of Mount Hood. It was one of the gnarliest features we built all season. Yes, it was as big and sketchy as it looks. Stoked on Auviq, they are a true grass roots company. Show your support and go buy some of their clothes. http://www.auviq.com/

On days when its rainy or socked in at the mountain, its good to make what you can out of it. The simplistic design of the elements on this rock face caught my eye. There is something about the harmony of those elements that makes this image so pleasing.

I’m excited to be shooting film again and processing it in-house. There is nothing quite like having complete control over what you are doing. Black and white film is my favorite to shoot and I dig high contrast.
Summer snow camps start this month and I’ve been shooting a lot “off-hill” so that I can approach the summer riding with a fresh eye and new found enthusiasm.

I’m back from a long week at Super Park 15. It was an honor to be a part of it and I got to meet some of my favorite photogs that have inspired me a lot over the years. Needless to say, the features where huge and the riders threw down. I’ll post some shots when they go to publication.
